The problem
Power BI costs climb with every user
Microsoft charges up to $24 USD per user per month. For an organization giving 85 people access, that's $2,040 USD a month just to view reports.
Our solution
Unlimited users, fixed price
Embera hosts your Power BI reports and opens them to everyone who needs them: employees, customers and suppliers, with no per-user licenses.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about the features in each plan
What is a "folder" in Embera?
A folder is a logical grouping of Power BI reports inside your Embera workspace. Use it to organize reports by department (Finance, HR, Production), by client, by project, etc. Each folder can be protected so only authorized users can access it. Starter includes 5 folders, Professional 10, Enterprise unlimited.
What is a "data refresh"?
It's the automatic update of your reports' data from their sources (Excel, database, API, etc.). The more refreshes per day, the more up-to-date your dashboards. Starter offers 4 refreshes/day, Professional 8, Enterprise 16.
Why is there a report limit per plan?
Each Power BI report consumes hosting, refresh and compute resources. Limiting reports lets us guarantee stable performance for everyone at a fair price. If you need more, the Enterprise plan offers unlimited reports.
What is a "user group"?
A group lets you grant permissions to multiple users in one action rather than individually. For example, create a "Finance Team" group and give it access to the "Financial Reports" folder. Adding or removing a person from the group updates their access automatically. Included from the Professional plan.
What's the difference between page-level, RLS and CLS security?
Page-level security shows only certain report pages depending on the user (Professional+). RLS (Row-Level Security) automatically filters table rows (e.g. a regional director only sees their region). CLS (Column-Level Security) hides certain columns (e.g. hide salaries from non-HR users). RLS and CLS are Enterprise-only.
What is an "email subscription"?
A subscription automatically sends a report (PDF, image) to a list of recipients by email on a defined schedule (every Monday, first of the month, etc.). Perfect for delivering a weekly dashboard to leadership without requiring them to log in. Starter includes 5 active subscriptions, Professional 10, Enterprise unlimited.
What is a "dedicated Power BI capacity"?
By default, all Embera customers share optimized pooled infrastructure. On the Enterprise plan, you can get a dedicated Microsoft Fabric capacity: compute resources reserved exclusively for your organization. It keeps response times consistent during peaks and supports larger data volumes.
Data Lake, SQL database and pipelines: what's the difference?
The Data Lake stores your raw data (files, logs, exports). The SQL database is a structured store for your operational data. Pipelines automate the transfer and transformation between sources and reports. All three are included from the Professional plan to build a complete analytics architecture.
Can I change plans or cancel at any time?
Yes. No minimum commitment: the subscription is month-to-month and can be cancelled at any time. You can also upgrade or downgrade at any time from your subscription portal, with billing prorated for the current month.
